Rádio Charme ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains which data we process when you use our website and app, why, and what your rights are.

1. Data we process

• Account (optional): name, email and password. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
• Country and state: provided by you on first launch, or suggested from the approximate location of your IP address. If you tap "Use my location", your device sends coordinates only so we can find your state; coordinates are not stored.
• Contact form: the name, email, subject and message you write.
• Technical data: IP address (stored only in encoded form, for security, rate limiting and approximate location), device type and language.
• Ad statistics: we count views and clicks on local advertiser banners, by state, without identifying you.
• Preferences on your device: theme, color, language and usage choices are stored on your device (cookies/local storage).

2. How we use it

• To play the radio and show the current song;
• To show ads and news from your region;
• To manage your account, answer messages and prevent spam and abuse;
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Ads and third-party services

• Google AdMob (Android app): shows ads to users who are not logged in. Google may use the device advertising ID and other data to serve and measure ads. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can limit ad personalization in your Android settings.
• Local advertiser banners: when you tap one, you are taken to the advertiser's website or WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy.
• Album covers and artist photos: fetched by our server from the public iTunes and Deezer catalogs using only the song/artist name. Your data is not sent to them.
• Approximate location: we may query IP geolocation services and, if you use the location button, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, only to find your country and state.
• Spam protection: the contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile.

4. Accounts and ads

Logged-in users do not see AdMob ads. Local advertiser banners are still shown.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the providers above, as needed, or when required by law.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while the account exists. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond. Technical security records are kept for a short period.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data and withdraw consent. Contact us: Contact.

8. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe this happened, contact us so we can remove it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical measures (hashed passwords, form abuse protection, attempt limits). No system is 100% secure.
